ABOUT
William Queen was born in Maryland about 1812 and died after 1870. William married Mary Ann Scott (b. 1825), who was found in the “1832 Special Census” in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. They had seven children, namely, Sarah “Sally” (b. 1847), Mary (b. 1848), Elizabeth “Lizzy” (b. 1854), Basil (b. 1856), Joseph (b. 1858), Edward (b. 1863), Susan “Susie” (b. 1867). The family was found in Anne Arundel County at the U.S. Census return for 1870 at the residence of the late Lloyd Scott—a free man—believed to be the father of Mary Ann.
