Stephen Queen was born about 1816 in Maryland. He was raised near the White Marsh Farm plantation in Collington, Prince George’s County, Maryland. He was possibly buried on 5 June 1883 at the White Marsh Cemetery, in Collington, Prince George’s County, Maryland.
About 1835, Stephen married Martha Gantt (b.1818). The couple had ten children:
